LM House

The house was purchased in an unfinished status. The connection between the two floors and the development of the attic with a terrace had to be resolved since the beginning. Subsequently, we had to solve the partitions of the rooms favoring a living room communicating with all the rooms in the house. Particular attention was paid to the choice of flooring and coverings. A large open window on the side of the terrace then allowed for an adequate amount of natural light from above. The staircase was built respecting the old border wall which has a strong element of attraction in its irregularity.

Contract Brescia

The construction of a Food Court within a larger restyling of a well-known structure in the Brescia area. The client’s requests were to have extremely robust materials, a light and easy to understand design, and a playground for kids. To create a welcoming and in any case robust environment we used a certified beech laminate in order to make the wood warm and at the same time maintain easy maintenance in everyday life.
The playful furnishings designed by Charles and Ray Eames brought cheer and fun for children of all ages.

Professional studio

The assignment in question involved the creation of a space dedicated to business consulting. The client, very attentive to the choice of materials, followed us in a proposal based on an idea of lightness and natural decoration. Fir strips were used fixed to the wall with retractable supports, the rough and extremely raw appearance of the walls thus obtained was used to recreate a comfortable and “sincere” environment. The furnishings are all in solid untreated oak.

General contracting Milano

The work consisted in the construction of several small-sized housing units. The main purpose is to optimize the work of the construction company in order to reduce construction time, excluding as much as possible all partitions and creating spaces identified by the fixed volumes of the furnishings.

Penthouse in Piacenza

This house in the city center is located in a building with a strong architectural value. Inside, we wanted to bring the design suggestions of northern Europe back into a familiar environment, especially the Danish houses of the 1950s where the lack of daylight was compensated for by the careful choice of colors and furnishings. The play of tones is deliberately brought back to soft and warm tones to follow the indications of a client attentive to practicality and everyday life. Particular attention was paid to the partitions on the ground floor where service bathrooms, technical rooms and closets are defined by a wooden structure that repeats the material of the flooring in the partitions.

House in the countryside

The shared choice of using steel and wood in the space dedicated to the kitchen made it possible to create a welcoming environment in perfect harmony with the exposed beams of the ceiling and the rustic character of the architectural ensemble. The chosen finishes have therefore created a warm and raw impact at the same time; the fireplace and the staircase are perfectly integrated into the context and the general composition.

Auditorium

The design of the council hall of the municipality of Vigolzone (Province of Piacenza) was part of a participatory project involving associations and citizens. The shared choice of use of a building material in the finish of the interior, the baubuche, allowed to obtain a cozy environment taking advantage of the perimeter of the hall and a remarkable economy of scale. The work is partially completed but defined as a whole.

House S

A work of considerable complexity that arises from the demolition of an old building adjacent to a property located in the city center. The reconstruction of this part of the building is dedicated to welcoming a new family unit and includes two floors above ground that join a historic building located on the main street. Our work focused on the interiors alongside a designer for the structural and architectural parts. Particular attention was paid to the definition of the systems and the energy efficiency of the home. Resin wood and minimal furnishings define a light space and at the same time very elegant.

Attic in the mountains

Renovation of an attic of a few square meters. The challenge was to be able to obtain usable spaces for 4 people in an extremely small space where even the heights are narrow. The abacus of materials, as usual, is reduced to a minimum.

Attic recovery

The theme of this recovery was treated with natural materials, felt-wood and iron. The goal was to create a relaxation area, a bedroom with bathroom and a convivial space for listening to music and watch TV.
The ceiling has been rearranged, sanded and painted with enamel, the floor covered in oak wood and the partitions were made by Feltrificio Biellese on our design, the panels are hung on a track that allows the sliding and modulates the spaces according to the uses. The wardrobe has been arranged in a minimal way using a bent steel tube and fixed to the wall. Some furnishings are recovered from the family home. The lights have been specially designed and made of iron by a trusted blacksmith. The custom-designed bookcase, in addition to serving for the owner’s library, dresses the back wall with a rhythm of solids and voids.
