Like much good music our classic designs have no age.

Zanotta

The company that brings irony to the domestic universe, which suggests different ways to feel better in the world of the home, which was the first to include in its catalog the works of the great masters of Italian design and beyond (Castiglioni, Mari, Munari , Sottsass, Colombo, Max Bill, Philippe Nigro and many others), giving rise to an unparalleled “collection” of masterpieces, awarded and exhibited in the most important design museums. Zanotta is also the quality of the materials used, always of the highest quality; of the technologies used and the processes carried out with artisanal care, in order to further enhance the peculiar characteristics of the designs, woods, metals, leathers and fabrics used.

String Furniture

It all started with a revelation and a competition. In 1949, Bonnier’s public library realized that the majority of Swedish homes were not furnished with a focus on bookshelves, which made it quite difficult for them to sell books. With this in mind, they announced a competition where they asked all contributors to submit a design for a shelf with a few criteria. The shelf needed to be affordable, easy to ship and equally easy to assemble. Nils and Kajsa Strinning won the competition with a flexible, elegant and minimalist shelving system that could be mounted on any wall. And voila: String® is born. The design was an instant success and Nils Strinning became famous as one of the most influential designers of the modern Scandinavian era. The benefits of String® are still evident to customers around the world today: Modern since 1949, the String® family has constantly evolved and expanded to fit a contemporary lifestyle.

PP Møbler

PP Møbler is a family owned Danish joinery workshop, established in 1953, with a strong tradition for crafting design furniture of high quality. Motivation has always been the love of wood and a stubborn belief that technique, ingenuity and craftsmanship can be combined in the strive for quality. Over the years, PP Møbler has produced several unique pieces of furniture in collaboration with different designers: types, styles, shapes and materials have never limited PP Møbler.
Most of the production is made up of furniture by Hans J. Wegner – mainly chairs – but many other designers have also left their mark. The latest projects to enter the collection are those of the Danish designer Thomas E. Alken

Porro

Founded in 1925 in the Brianza area, by tradition the Italian cradle of high-quality furniture manufacturing, today Porro is an international brand characterized by an intrinsic ability to select, work and interpret wood, offering an incredibly wide and accurate range of finishings and using it in unexpected ways by implementing cutting-edge technologies for glossy and matt lacquers alongside fine woodworking techniques of the past. The brand has the contribution of numerous internationally renowned designers including Piero Lissoni, Piergiorgio Cazzaniga, Front, Gamfratesi, LucidiPevere, Alessandro Mendini, Neri & Hu, Elisa Ossino, Christophe Pillet, Soda Des / gners.
The Porro family runs a company that created a furnishing philosophy that combines the artisan tradition of the time and the most advanced production and computerization technologies of nowdays.
The Porro project is immediately recognizable for an immediately identifiable essential language, which prefers the simplification of geometries, shapes, without losing sight of simplicity even in the most complex production processes.
All Porro products are born by subtraction, from a process of progressive simplification. Even systems, by their very nature very complex, are born from an aesthetically very simple vision, working for consistency, for simplification, for simplicity, without ever abandoning the path of quality, as high as possible.

Moormann

Moormann, named after its founder Nils Holger Moormann, is a brand that has made modularity and essentiality elegantly declined something more than its stylistic and industrial figure: almost a philosophy. Easily assembled and removable interlocking panels give shape to furniture with practical and refined lines, certainly Nordic and at the same time warm.
From armchairs to shelves, through chairs, bookcases and coat hangers to pet loungers, Moormann creates a unique and recognisable style that is also a production and sustainability philosophy. A red thread binds all the pieces: rarely come across collections where all the furniture and accessories are immediately recognizable as belonging to the same family.
Sustainability is another input of the brand, since the chosen suppliers are never more than forty kilometers away from the small Bavarian center headquarters of the factory. Moormann can therefore also be considered an example of (almost) zero kilometer design.

Louis Poulsen

Founded in 1874, Louis Poulsen is a Danish lighting company born out of the tradition of Scandinavian design in which form follows function. The function and design of the products are designed to reflect and support the rhythm of natural light. Every design detail has a purpose, each design begins and ends with light: a handicraft made with passion that produces quality lighting and design products that are pleasant to look at and use.
Since 1924, Poul Henningsen has created his iconic Louis Poulsen lamps, an emblem of the Scandinavian lighting design: the origin of the design that shapes light can be traced back to his vision of the combination of design and lighting.
In close collaboration with designers, architects and other talents such as Arne Jacobsen, Verner Panton, Eivind Slaatto, Alfred Homann, Oki Sato and Louise Campbell, Louis Poulsen has positioned itself among the leading providers of architectural and decorative lighting. Beyond any traditional category, the proposals are a demonstration of the simplicity and beauty of design. The goal is to create an atmosphere that affects spaces and people: design to shape light.

Living Divani

Perfect, harmonious proportions and a feeling of understated luxury are the distinguishing features of Living Divani, a family-owned company that has made its trademark of upholstery.
Since the early 1970s, the company has followed a clear path, maintaining an intensive dialogue with the contemporary world and becoming one of the landmarks in the design landscape. Strategic is the alliance with Piero Lissoni who, since 1988 has led the firm’s unique style.
It was thus created a vast and varied offer of sofas, armchairs, beds and complements: a gradual process of creation of a complete living environment, which revolves around the upholstery system, both for indoor or outdoor, with its subtle shapes and proportions, to combine with characterful complements – seats, small armchairs, tables, bookcases, storage unit and carpets – that will suit and define any setting, from the essential and rigorous to the multifarious and eclectic décor.
Essential silhouettes and sartorial spirit define the codes of the Living Divani collection.
Natural materials such a leather and rope, woven or quilted with skilful craftsmanship, to the rediscovery of precious traditions of the past, are combined with cotton and linen fabrics with flat or textured backgrounds, from which relief seams emerge with amazing optical effects. Sophisticated finishes such as StoneOak®, an essence of natural origin with an exclusive surface whose texture and colors recall those of a stone, which derives from logs slipped underground between different layers of clay and returned to the light charged with a new unique beauty, and soft Zero Impact leathers, which enhance ecological sustainability thanks to a production process in which total compensation of greenhouse gas emissions is achieved, through a reforestation project of different areas, according to internationally certified procedures.
